These birds are everywhere. I suppose it's because we have so many retention ponds. Giving them plenty of fish to eat. I believe it is called the Great White Egret. Flickr Photostream

The kids call those birds "lizard eaters". We seem them getting lizards out of the bushes all the time.
Not enough water for them here. They are sure pretty tho.
Never saw them before. Very unique to me at least!
