Two years later!

A view of the pier driving along Hwy 90 in Gulfport, Mississippi. I was amazed at how much devastation still remains after Huricane Katrina came through 2 years ago. As we drove along the Hwy there were signs along the beach that said "Beach Closed" and only a few tourist. R was there right after the Hurricane and he was telling me how it looked then. Most of the debris has been cleared and a few houses are being rebuilt. It was eery to still see vacant lots with only slabs or steps. The people of Mississippi are resilient in this small town as they continue to wait and rebuild.
